Order Processing
- Processing Time: Orders are typically processed within 1-2 business days. Orders are not shipped or delivered on weekends or holidays.
- Order Confirmation: You will receive a confirmation email once your order has been placed. You will also receive a notification once your order has been shipped, including tracking information.
Shipping Rates & Delivery Estimates

Domestic Shipping: We offer several shipping options within the United States:
- Standard Shipping (5-7 business days): $[5.99] flat rate.
- Expedited Shipping (2-3 business days): $[12.99] flat rate.
- Overnight Shipping (1 business day): $[19.99] flat rate.
- Free Shipping: We offer free standard shipping on orders over $150.
- Delivery Times: Delivery times are estimates and start from the date of shipping, not the date of order. Delays can occur during peak seasons or due to unforeseen circumstances.
International Shipping

International Shipping: We currently offer shipping to select countries outside of the United States. Shipping rates and delivery times vary based on the destination.
- International Shipping Rates: Rates will be calculated at checkout based on the destination and shipping method chosen.
- Customs, Duties, and Taxes: Modern Botanica is not responsible for any customs and taxes applied to your order. All fees imposed during or after shipping are the responsibility of the customer (tariffs, taxes, etc.).
Shipping Restrictions
- P.O. Boxes and APO/FPO Addresses: We ship to P.O. Boxes and APO/FPO addresses via standard shipping only.
- Restricted Locations: We do not ship to [list any locations where you do not ship].
Order Tracking
- Tracking Information: You will receive an email with tracking information once your order has shipped. You can track your order using the link provided in the email or by visiting Modern Botanica's website and entering your tracking number.
Lost, Damaged, or Stolen Packages
- Lost or Stolen Packages: Modern Botanica is not responsible for lost or stolen packages. If your package is lost or stolen, please contact the shipping carrier to file a claim.
- Damaged Packages: If your order arrives damaged, please contact us immediately at lara.e.hill@gmail.com with your order number and photos of the damaged items. We will work with the shipping carrier to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.

🌿 Modern Botanica Refund Policy
Returns
Due to the nature of our handmade, botanical skincare, we are only able to accept returns on unopened, unused items in their original packaging, within 14 days of delivery. If 14 days have passed, or the product has been opened, we’re unable to offer a return — but we still want to take care of you (see below).
To request a return or support with your order, email support@modernbotanica.com with your order number. If your return is approved, we’ll send you instructions and a return label. Items sent back without prior approval will not be accepted.

We know that trying a new skincare ritual can be a leap of faith. That’s why we offer a one-time store credit or product replacement for first-time customers if something doesn’t feel right.
While we can’t accept returns on opened personal care items (for health + safety reasons), we stand behind our offerings. Just reach out within 14 days of delivery and let us know what’s going on — we’ll make it right.
Damaged or Incorrect Orders
If your order arrives damaged, incorrect, or something isn’t right, please email us within 3 days of delivery. We’ll take care of it right away.

Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your return, we’ll notify you of the outcome. If approved, your refund will be issued to your original payment method within 5–10 business days. If you haven’t received your refund after that window, please reach out.
EU Customers
Orders shipping to the European Union are eligible for a 14-day cancellation period under EU law. Items must be unused and in original packaging to qualify.
